    Note from the Health Office:
As we enter flu and illness season, we would like to emphasize our general practice for ill students:

    • Fever: If a student has had a fever of 101°F or higher, they should stay home for at least 24 hours after the fever returns to normal, without the use of fever-reducing medications.
    • Vomiting/Diarrhea: If a student has experienced two episodes of vomiting and/or diarrhea, they should remain home until 24 hours after the last episode.
    • Antibiotics: If a student has started antibiotics, they should stay home until they have completed a full 24-hour course of medication.
    • General Illness: If a student is not feeling well enough to participate in their normal school day, they should stay home to rest and recover.

Please also inform us of any illnesses your child is being treated for. This helps us track and report illnesses as required by the Minnesota Department of Health.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kara Brink, RN at 320-656-3701 ext. 5104.
