    Assessments Updates
Our goal is for all Sartell-St. Stephen students to be equipped to work toward their goals, bounce back from setbacks, manage emotions, develop positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. To support our students individually as they strive to develop these skills, we need to gather information so we can personalize our work with each student. In addition to providing assessment tools for mathematics and reading, FastBridge provides SAEBRS/mySAEBRS (Social, Academic, Emotional and Behavioral Risk Screener). Please read this letter to parents/guardians regarding SAEBRS and review each building’s assessment calendar for details on our Assessments webpage (

Students will have the opportunity to exchange valentine cards with their classmates on Tuesday, February 14th. Participating in the valentine card exchange is completely optional. Should your family choose to send in a trinket, please send non-food items only - such as pencils, stickers, bracelets, or other trinkets as we have many students with food intolerances and allergies.

Please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher if your family needs assistance with purchasing valentine cards as the school has a limited number available.

Please be sure to keep these Choice Boards accessible and in a known location. Choice boards will also be emailed to families on an eLearning day and posted to students’ Seesaw page by 9a. Digital copies will be posted to the district website at as each eLearning day occurs. Students who receive special education accommodations or modifications may have an individualized Choice Board that will be shared via Seesaw and/or email. Parent/caregiver(s) will need to mark the activities that were completed and sign their students’ Choice Board.
