Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)

"Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is based on the idea that parents provide their child's first and most significant learning environment and parents are children's first and most enduring teachers.  ECFE works to support you as a parent/caregiver and to strengthen and empower families. The goal is to enhance the ability of all parents and other family members to provide the best possible  environments for their child's learning and development." - Minnesota Department of Education (MDE)

Early Childhood Family Education is a place for you as a parent/guardian and your child to learn through playing together. Classes with separation have parent/child time together and then a short child time with an Early Child Educator in one room and parent group with a Parent Educator in another room. Classes without separation have all 3 components in one room.

Non-mobile infants are welcome in age specific classes but if you have children of multiple ages, we ask you sign up for our Birth - 5 classes so we can best serve the development needs and safety of your children.
