The levy passed 3,047 to 2,276 (57.22% to 42.47%).

2019 Levy for Learning

This November, we will be asking the community to support a levy which will be used to:
- sustain and grow our educational programming
- provide learning experiences that will prepare our students for life beyond our school walls and
- provide needed support for school operations

School Funding - Definitions

Levies and Bonds
In short: a bond is for building and a levy is for learning.
- Funding from the 2016 bond can only be used for construction projects, including the new high school.
- Funding from the 2019 Levy can only be used for operational and educational needs.
As we shared in presentations in Spring 2016, the School Board decided that instead of asking for both a bond and a levy in 2016, the fiscally responsible plan was to wait until the operational funds were needed with the opening of the new High School in the Fall of 2019.
