The following are 3 takeaways from the regular school board meeting held on June 15, 2026:

1. Sabre Activities and Athletics Spring Update
   The School Board received an update on a successful spring season for Sabre Activities and athletics. The presentation highlighted student participation, team accomplishments, individual achievements, and the many opportunities available for students to become involved outside of the classroom. 

2. Construction Project Update: Riverview Intermediate School
   District leaders provided an update on the Riverview Intermediate School construction project. Planning and preparations remain on schedule as the district moves forward with improvements focused on building infrastructure, learning environments, and long-term facility needs. Construction activities will continue throughout the summer as work progresses on the voter-approved facility improvements.

3. Superintendent Evaluation and 2026-27 Goals
   The School Board reviewed the Superintendent's annual evaluation for the 2025-26 school year and recognized continued progress toward district goals and priorities. The evaluation highlighted strong work in communication, community engagement, facility planning, student-focused decision-making, and building partnerships that support students and families across the district. Following the evaluation, the School Board approved the Superintendent's goals for the 2026-27 school year.
