Tami Fernholz receives Sabre Staff Star Award for October!
Congratulations to Tami Fernholz, our Sabre Staff Star for October!
Tami is a special education teacher at Sartell Middle School and her nomination includes:
- Mrs. Fernholz is always doing what is best for students and has a contagious hard working demeanor that is always shining. Mrs. Fernholz is one of a kind and we are so lucky to have her at Sartell Middle School.
- Tami consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that students' needs are met, parents and teachers are in the loop, and her team has what they need to stay afloat. She perfectly balances incredible patience and kindness with students, while also setting firm expectations and boundaries.
- She takes on many responsibilities as our team leader without complaint, and is always willing to help staff who need support.
- Sartell Middle School is lucky to have her!
- I am nominating Tami Fernholz for October's Sabre Staff Star because she is a person that's primary focus is to the social, emotional and academic growth of the students that she works with. She is always looking for new ways to engage them in their learning.
- She will always meet a student where they are at and encourages them to strive to be the best version of themselves. She shows students that she believes in them promoting them to work hard a achieve the goal or task that they have set for themselves.
- Tami supports her colleagues with her depth of knowledge and willingness to share resources. She is a leader that we can always count on and goes the extra mile for staff and students.
- Mrs. Fernholz is one of a kind! Her dedication to helping students be successful is incredible. She is always kind, helpful, proactive, and has an abundance of patience.
