Voters pass Question 1 during Special Election on Tuesday, February 11
ISD 748 Families:
I wanted to update you about the unofficial results of yesterday’s special election: voters approved the indoor air quality project for Riverview Intermediate School (RIS), but did not approve the Sartell High School (SHS) outdoor facilities project in the special election on February 11, 2025. Both projects were part of the District’s 2015 Facilities Master Plan.
Results will be confirmed by the school board at their February 19 canvassing meeting; the unofficial results are:
- The first question regarding RIS indoor air quality passed with a vote of 1,663 Yes votes to 1,149 No votes (59% Yes and 41% No).
- The second question (SHS outdoor facilities) did not pass with a vote of 1,099 Yes votes and 1,709 No votes (39% Yes and 61% No).
We are grateful for our Sartell-St. Stephen community supporting the project for Riverview Intermediate School, the original high school for this school district. This project will have a lasting impact on our learning environments, and I appreciate the incredible engagement from everyone. We have also heard from the community regarding the second question and will work on options for the future. Our district values your input, and we remain committed to finding solutions that support all students.
