In the Fall of 2020, Oak Ridge and Pine Meadow Elementary School will serve students in Preschool through Grade 2. At the request of the school board, a committee was formed to research and make a recommendation for how the schools will be configured. After careful study, the committee recommended creating a PreK-K Early Learning Center and a Grades 1-2 school site. On February 25, 2019, the school board approved the reconfiguration recommendation.
Fall 2020:
- ORE becomes Oak Ridge Early Learning Center serving students in PreK-K
- PME become Pine Meadow Primary School serving students in grades 1-2
To learn more about the recommendation please view the slide presentation and video from the Community Schools Update meeting on February 6, 2019.
