English Learners will be supported in their classes by the content teacher and their EL case manager. EL case managers will provide instruction and assistance with vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and encouragement! Teachers will be available via Google Meet for students receiving services. Students will be able to access via a Google Meet link each day on the EL Schoology course to virtually connect with their EL teacher every day. 

English Learners will also receive small group or individualized mini-lessons based on student need. For grades K-4, much of this will focus on Reading Wonders vocabulary, reading, and writing tasks. In other grade levels, case managers will align instruction to each student’s Learning Plan.

Additional Communication
EL Case Managers will have regular office hours and encourage students to use email, Google Meet, or Schoology as communication vehicles with all of their teachers.
