Welcome to Riverview Intermediate School!

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I am excited to have you as part of our school family. At Riverview Intermediate School, our mission is to empower every student to grow toward their full potential as a lifelong learner in a supportive, safe environment. We live these values through our interactions with students and through our dynamic and student-centered programming.

We balance a rigorous academic curriculum that is aligned to (and exceeds) local, state, and federal standards for all students in grades 3, 4, and 5. Every student participates in a variety of specialist classes along with What I Need (WIN) time where they receive differentiated instruction unique to their needs.

We focus on developing the whole child through our social-emotional learning curriculum, TOP 20, and provide opportunities for movement, creativity, and critical thinking throughout the school day. Our students engage in a variety of developmentally appropriate experiences and learning atmospheres to become self-directed learners using our STEAM Lab, Makerspace Area, Media Center, and Outdoor Learning Classrooms. Our amazing staff support students academically, socially, and emotionally, encouraging all students to take risks, learn from mistakes, and celebrate successes.
