English Language Learner Families,

This letter is regarding the 2023 Minnesota ACCESS testing for English Language Learners (ELLs).  The ACCESS and Alternate ACCESS for ELLs are assessments developed by the WIDA consortium and administered to English learners in order to measure progress toward meeting Minnesota’s standards for English language development.  The state of Minnesota requires all ELL students take this test every year in-person at school.

Please reach out to me (or your child’s ELL teacher) as soon as possible if you have any questions or concerns related to this test.
